Meet
the Artist
I was
trained in Professional Institute of
Commercial Art in Baltimore, Md. in
1981, and pursued a career in art
advertising in a variety of different
advertising companies over the years,
until I saw an artist using an
airbrush on a number of t-shirts,
utilizing a combination of freehand
and stenciled designs, which really
enthralled me!
When I saw how free the artist was in
doing work for various clients without
any conformity to any one given
company, I was hooked! That was in
1989. I went to work for several
leather shops over the next couple of
years that offered me opportunities to
airbrush on the various fabrics made
available for clients, and then went
out on my own.
I've been trained by a number of
veteran airbrushers who helped train
me in fine-tuning and honing my skills
and have been at it ever since! I've
painted everything from t-shirts, auto
tags, leather and jean jackets,
leather vests, vinyl and fiberglass
tire covers, to gas tanks, fenders,
ferrings, helmets, hoods, hood scoop
panels, tailgates, and a wide variety
of wall murals in between jobs! I've
even done dozens of Bar and Bat
Mitzvahs, Middles School and High
School team shirts, all with huge
successes!
I consider working with the airbrush a
passion and a lifetime commitment!
